Frequently Asked Questions
Does my entire party need to select the same testing menu?
Yes, everyone in your party must select the same tasting menu. We are of course more than happy to accommodate any allergies or dietary requirements.
Can we bring a cake, and is there a cakeage fee?
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring a cake, and there won’t be any cakeage fee charged.
What is the maximum capacity of the function venue?
Zushi Barangaroo has a maximum capacity of 117 people.
Can we split bills or start individual bar tabs?
We do not offer split bills or individual bar tabs.
Can I customise the menu options to suit my event preferences and dietary requirements?
Yes, we can cater for any dietary requirements. No changes are to be made on the day of the event. We cater for most dietary requirements noting that some special dietary needs your guests may have, may have an additional charge.
We able to offer vegan/vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free. Intolerances and allergies will be accommodated for as best as possible, however, please be aware that we use allergens in our kitchen.
Can I bring my own decorations and personalize the event space?
Of course, you’re more than welcome to bring decorations, but we kindly ask that you refrain from using glitter or confetti. We do not recommend balloons at Zushi Barangaroo because the venue is outdoors, and windy days can pose a safety hazard.
What is your cancellation policy?
If changes or cancellations are made 24 hours prior to the booking date, no charges will incur. Please read our full Terms & Conditions on page 10 of our functions pack.
Are there any surcharges?
We consider groups of 10+ a large group. Groups must select the tasting menu, and a 10% service charge applies on final bill. A public holiday surcharge of 15% applies to all bills.
Can we BYO?
We hold a full liquor licence so no BYO is allowed. We will only serve alcohol responsibly and have the right to refuse entry and service for customers in accordance with the law.
Does the venue have AV capabilities?
We are unable to offer these as Barangaroo is an open-air dining facility in a shared space with other dining venues nearby.
